Homework for Week of November 27

Periods 1,3,5, and 7 (Seventh Grade English)

  1. Read a book within your ZPD range for 100 minutes. Record a summary and reflection for each reading session on a reading log or sheet of lined paper. (Due Tuesday, December 13).
  2. Finish a book within your ZPD range and take an AR book quiz for it. You must pass the quiz and print proof that you’ve passed. (Due Tuesday, December 13)

If you’re writing a  4-page minimum scary story for our class anthology…

  1. Have your completed manuscript that is ready for publishing. Proofread (i.e., correct grammatical errors and make sure punctuation marks are in their correct places) and make corrections to your story based on the critiques you’ve received. As you make corrections, consider “showing and not just telling” as we’ve discussed in class. (Due Tuesday, December 6

If you’re writing a 60-page minimum book on your own…

1. Complete pages 50 though 56. (Due Tuesday, December 6)
